It’s easy to detect when you’re within a reasonable distance of a plant as your controller will vibrate relentlessly.

In total there are 76 Peyote Plants scattered across the GTA Online map, and they pretty much feature in every mini-quadrant of the map – meaning you should always be somewhat near one. San Andreas county is pretty huge, so the good news is that there’s also a hefty amount of Peyote Plants that cover this area.
